` Busch Gardens Europe

` I thought I was going to die today. Well, maybe not, but pretty close. It felt like 500 degrees outside. Holy moly! And to make matters worse, Roo and I went to Busch Gardens! Ha. We're so stupid. We went from 11:40 am - 2:00 pm. My gawd, I was sweating like a pig. It was disgusting. But since I'm all about being optimistic, I must say there were some positive sides to this day: I hardly had to wait in line due to the small amount of people at the park; I ate the delicious chicken; I had some sister bonding; I got some exercise from walking everywhere; Best of all, I got a little tanner (still pale compared to you other lucky tan people but whatever. forget you!). Yeah, that's all I can think of right now. It's weird though. I've been to Busch like all my life, so seeing the new Sesame Street area where the petting zoo used to be kinda makes me miss the annoying goats and little prairie dogs. I remember going to Busch Gardens when I was like five years old with my family from 11 am - closing time. I'd always have my little fanny pack strapped around my waist, which was extremely 'cool' at that time. I'd always act like a baby and sit in my stroller even though I knew I was capable of walking like any other five year old at that time. My dad would always play those games where you have to sit on the stool and shoot water into a pirate's mouth or aim into a little black hole where he'd have to be the first one to get the meter to the top. He would win every time, and I would gain a new prize every day. Therefore, the shelf in my room containing all the cute little stuffed animal prizes eventually became full until I had no other place to put them. I was so spoiled. I'd never leave the park without cotton candy. That was when Busch Gardens had those cool cotton candy machines where you could eat it warm and fluffy on a white paper cone. Now, all the fluffy sugar is stored in a bag, suffocating til some kid like me rips it open. I also hated roller coasters. The first roller coaster I've placed my butt on was Wild Mouse, where I cried as soon as the car began to take us to the top. Now, there would be no point for me to go to Busch Gardens without riding roller coasters, and Wild Mouse has been sold to a new park. Even the name of the park hasbeen changed from Busch Gardens Williamsburg to Busch Gardens Europe. Plus, passes evolved over time. It used to be easy sneaking into the park since the pass only consisted of your name and picture. If you looked like the person on the card, it was easy access. Now, they had to get all technical and scan a finger with the card to see if it actually belongs to you. Oh those were the days. But it's not like everything has changed. Lunch is still the same; eating at the Smoke House for that mouth-watering BBQ chicken with the fries and roll on the side. I will never eat anything else as long as I'm in that park. Ew, I'm getting all hot again thinking about the smoke house and steam from the white meat. I better stop before I feel like dying again.

Tootles!
All for smiles,
Little Dolly
